These Terms of Service govern your use of ClubRoomr, a platform that connects grassroots sports players and clubs through structured matching. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
ClubRoomr is operated by ClubRoomr Limited, registered in England and Wales. Company number: 17128700. References to "we", "us", or "ClubRoomr" throughout these Terms refer to the operator of the platform.
These Terms contain important provisions regarding your use of the platform, including your responsibilities in relation to football registration rules and approach regulations. Please read them carefully before using the service.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use ClubRoomr. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or over and legally able to enter into these Terms.
If we discover or have reasonable grounds to believe that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may suspend or delete that account and all associated data without notice.
When creating an account you must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that takes place under your account.
You may only create one account per person or organisation. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans is prohibited.
If you register as a player, you are responsible for ensuring that the information on your profile is accurate, including your playing history, current registration status, and availability. You must not misrepresent your level of experience or playing ability.
If you register on behalf of a club or team, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and that the information you provide about the club or team is accurate.
Key Principle: ClubRoomr is a player-initiated discovery platform. Players choose to make themselves visible and available. The platform does not facilitate unsolicited approaches to contracted or registered players. Users remain solely responsible for ensuring their use of the platform complies with all applicable football association, league, and registration rules.
Certain football associations and leagues impose rules governing the approach of players registered at another club. These rules vary depending on the step or level, the specific rules of the relevant county FA or league, and the time of year. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with any applicable approach rules before making contact through ClubRoomr.
ClubRoomr is designed as a player-initiated platform. Players actively choose to create a profile and make themselves visible to clubs. A match only occurs when both the player and the club express mutual interest. The platform does not allow clubs to send unsolicited messages to players before a mutual match.
By using ClubRoomr, you agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the platform complies with all applicable FA rules, league rules, and registration regulations.
Important Note: ClubRoomr is not affiliated with The Football Association, any county FA, or any football league and cannot advise on whether a specific approach is permissible in your circumstances.
By using ClubRoomr you agree not to create a false or misleading profile, impersonate another person or club, use the platform to harass or abuse other users, send spam through the chat system, use the platform for any purpose other than genuine player and club recruitment, or use the platform in any way that breaches applicable law.
You are responsible for all content you upload or share on ClubRoomr, including profile information, photographs, and messages. By submitting content, you grant ClubRoomr a limited licence to host, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating the service.
You must not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate.
Some features of ClubRoomr require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, billing periods, and cancellation rights will be presented at the point of purchase through the relevant app store or billing provider.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or create a risk to other users or the platform. We operate a report and block system and will take appropriate action on reports received.
Where a user report is received, we retain the reported content for a minimum of 90 days to allow us to review and take appropriate action.
ClubRoomr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular match or recruitment outcome will result from your use of the platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClubRoomr is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including any breach of FA or league rules, any dispute between a player and a club, or any loss arising from inaccurate profile information.
ClubRoomr is a discovery and matching platform only. It does not facilitate contract negotiations or any financial arrangement between a player and a club, and is not a registered intermediary.
Important Note: FA intermediary regulations apply at certain levels of football. Users should familiarise themselves with the current FA rules. ClubRoomr cannot provide advice on these regulations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of ClubRoomr after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
